I can see all of Mt. Fuji, from its peak all the way down to the base! I’ve been here since February 2025.

“We” decided to move in a cosy suite near Kuzuha Mall, just a stone’s throw from Kyoto.

大阪府堺市
Sakai, Osaka

京阪圏帰還。粉もんに，高速での会話，そして古墳。車生活からちょっと気分転換の自転車生活へ。
Finally back in the city, I loved spending my days amid the hustle and bustle of Sakai, even though ancient mounds surrounded my place.

埼玉県草加市＆八潮市
Soka & Yashio, Saitama

中川に綾瀬川。煎餅の香りと都会の喧騒に揉まれながらも都心とのアクセスの良さはピカイチ。
You can smell the scent of rice crackers wafting from everywhere. I was living the full Metropolitan lifestyle, just steps away from fields and paddies.

茨城県つくば市
Tsukuba, Ibaraki

筑波山の麓にて広い道路でのびのびと。安くておいしい野菜や果物と絶対に駐車しやすいカワチとカスミ。
There are fresh veggies and fruits all year round, and the city kind of reminds me of life in New Zealand. It’s definitely one of the best places to live, even though the commute from Tsukuba to Tokyo CBD takes a bit of time.

京都府京都市

嗜好品 -とくにコーヒー，紅茶，はちみつ- の生産とそれにかかわる人々について興味をもつ。実は京都で過ごした時間がとても少なかった研究生活。インドネシアとエチオピアを行ったり来たり。
I conducted field research on coffee, tea, and honey production in Ethiopia and Indonesia. During that time, I was constantly traveling between Kyoto and my village in those countries.

オークランド
Auckland, New Zealand

フィッシュアンドチップスとケバブのおいしさに癒されながら，課題に翻弄される日々を過ごす。現在も『帰省』をする地，ニュージーランド。
Fish & chips and kebabs in the city—those are the places where I spent so much of my time! Even though the assignments nearly pushed me to my limits, I can’t really complain about my student years in Auckland.

焼けるような日差し。遠足で訪れた隣国ニュージーランドを求めるようになる。
When the sun scorched the grass and trees back home, I started to see New Zealand as a promising place to study.

千葉県柏市＆松戸市

兄弟3人わいわいガヤガヤと過ごした地。今となっては大人気のベッドタウン。
This is the place where I spent my childhood. It used to be a small town, but over time, it transformed into one of the most popular dormitory suburbs.

秋田県秋田市（出生地）
Akita (Birthplace)

特別豪雪地帯出身。飛行機だと秋田空港，新幹線だと秋田駅，降りたときの匂いは出生地独特。帰れば安心，寂しくなればきりたんぽに大吟醸。
I come from a region in Akita known for its heavy snowfall. The local cuisine and brews always bring me comfort. If you ever visit the area, let me know—I’d love to share it with you!
